RACE

  1. Aboriginal:
    "ab" is a latin prefix meaning "not" or "away from", which means it's saying FN people don't belong to their lands.

  2. Indian/ Indigenous people:
    Indian refers to the label Christopher Columbus called the people he first encountered in The New World. He believed he'd arrived in India, so calling FN Indians it's stripping them off their identity.

  3. nigger:
    very offensive to African American people due to its historical reference. It was used by white owners to refer to slaves. Even if African American are reclaiming its use, white people should never do, even if it's a song. It's like how you can call your sister ugly, but no one else can.
